Ducks and Soccer and Temples and stuff!

What do ducks, soccer, and temples have in common? Well until now, nothing.  However, seeing as they all became photo opportunities for me, they have all gained residence on this page of my blog. THAT is what they have in common my dear folks.  So enjoy these pictures!

I took a journey to a pond here in Ogden. The ducks must have known I was coming. They fluffed their feathers, polished their beaks, and shined their webbed feet. Very photogenic, these creatures.

I mean, seriously! Just look at this guy! As soon as I took the picture he'd look me, smile, and then reposition himself for another photo. No lie.

SEE! All shined up and ready to go!

I took this right before he smiled.

And... he's smiling! Nailed it!

Having had my fill of duck... I should rephrase that.  Having taken enough photos of ducks, I decided to get some pictures of the soon-to-be opened Brigham City Temple.

Looks pretty dang good, huh?

This isn't a temple... just in case you were wondering. This is actually a transitional shot from Brigham City's Temple to Salt Lake's Soccer Game! Imagine riding the train from Ogden to Salt Lake with us for the game.

You done imagining?

WE'RE THERE! This game was horrible! But my pictures turned out pretty amazing so enjoy them!

Actually, now that I think about it... the game was pretty cool. I mean, this guy's head turned into a soccer ball!

Shear hatred was developed for this man. That's all I have to say about that...

So, I felt silly not knowing this player's name before the game... until I saw how he played. Then I thought, THAT'S why I don't know his name...

This was the first goal for Real. It was also the only goal for Real, but it was dang impressive.

This was a good impression of the frustration at the game. Our team just couldn't get control of the ball!

Now a transition from Soccer. I have a brand new lens! And, I have been playing with it trying to figure out how capable it was of getting the photos I require.  The next photos are a bit of a showing off of what it can do!

I love the detail and color of this photo. It's just amazing!

The coloring in this photo was just beautiful! It reminds me of summer barbecues and camping in the backyard... wait, that's what it reminds my husband of...

Good old Griz.

That's my photos for now! I hope you enjoyed them! Keep coming back for more!
